This six week training program at The Eddy training facility is designed to build a solid base of technical skills in the players and then allow them to apply those skills in small sided games for Recreational Players. Players start together in a group, each with a ball at their feet, while our staff coaches improve a variety of soccer skills such as different ways to change direction with the ball and moves to beat the defender (i.e. scissors, step over, cuts, etc.). Coaches will have time to work with players on their individual technique before breaking into teams for small sided games. Players will be encouraged to use their new skills in the game setting. The goal of the program is to promote creativity and bravery in our young players while they continue to develop as soccer players.
